Unum wins Best Employers: Excellence in Health & Wellbeing Award

Unum was recognised for its commitment to advancing employee wellbeing through comprehensive and innovative benefits and initiatives at today’s Business Group on Health Best Employers: Excellence in Health & Wellbeing Awards. It was one of 50 large employers honoured with the prestigious award.

The award criteria assess applicants on their global approach in areas such as leadership, strategy and culture; holistic wellbeing (including mental health, financial security, physical health, social connectedness and job satisfaction); engagement; and the employee experience. 

The employers honoured with the Excellence in Global Health & Wellbeing Award achieved the accolade by meeting the needs of employees in multiple countries. Unum demonstrated a commitment to equity with mental, physical and financial health offerings, as well as a comprehensive wellbeing programme. This includes the UK’s multi-award-winning app Help@hand, which is available to all employees as well as Group Risk customers.
