The services available to you may depend on your Unum Group Income Protection, Critical Illness or Life Insurance policy, and the selection made by your employer.
How do I get started with Help@hand?
- First thing you’ll need is a welcome email from your employer. This comes automatically when your company registers eligible employees for the app. No email? Ask your HR representative to check you’re both eligible and registered for Help@hand.
- Once you’ve got the email, click the link provided or go directly to the App Store or Google Play and search ‘Help@hand’ to download the app.
- Enter your details and get started with a wealth of health and wellbeing support.
- Don’t forget to invite your eligible family members* from the app as well.
*Eligible family members include partner and children up to 18, or up to 24 if in full-time education. Eligibility may vary on services.

With Help@hand from Unum, you can book 1-2-1 consultation anytime, fitting around your life and work. Access valuable medical services, with unlimited mental health consultations**, unlimited 24/7 remote GP appointments, physiotherapy† (eight sessions per year) and medical second options (two sessions per year).

Take charge of your wellbeing
Help@hand can help you proactively support your wellbeing. Get personal health insights with the unique interactive assessments to reveal your 360 Wellbeing Score, and take just one in-app wellbeing assessment and unlock 1-2-1 lifestyle coaching (six sessions per year).

Access everyday lifestyle support
Extensive savings and discounts can help you with everyday costs, from groceries to tech and travel.
