The right support

When it comes to wellbeing, the report suggests that employees with comprehensive support, fare better than those without. Those with employer-provided support are:

more likely to report being happy at work

less likely to say they are looking for a job with a different employer

less likely to report that they have poor mental or physical health

This research report, commissioned by Unum and carried out by WPI economics, talks about how health and happiness are fundamentally linked, and are both key drivers of productivity.
